📌About the client

The client is a platform designed to help brands automate influencer marketing workflows and programs.


📌The ideal candidate

The Senior Account Managers' focus will be on developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and decision-makers. You will also own Client Pods and be responsible for the growth revenue growth of these Pods by ensuring retention and reducing churn.


📌What the job involves

-Become the voice of the company and primary POC by managing existing relationships and providing outstanding, proactive holistic support to key clients

-Build robust and expansive annual growth plans for the pods you manage on an Africa-wide scale, and serve as the lead project manager.

-Build and maintain trust and rapport with existing key clients at the brand and agency levels.

-Work with the marketing team to develop an annual Account Based Marketing plan to support the client relationship.

-Work to uncover new growth areas with the client throughout the year, with a focus on being able to develop budgets and annual plans with the client

-Translate customer insights and evolving market dynamics into meaningful opportunities that deliver value to customers.

-Grow overall revenue by meeting quarterly and annual account revenue targets

-Bring creative solutions to clients and be able to understand the value drivers within their organizations

-Collaborate directly with the Head of Customer Success to ensure Account Managers are on track.

-Work closely with Sales peers, Project Coordinators, Customer Success, and the wider organization to maximize commercial success with existing clients

-Build an internal industry knowledge base and share insights with the Customer Success and sales for building


📌Qualifications

-At least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or similar functions

-At least 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced tech or start-up environment

-An ability to clearly frame a value proposition and ask the right questions to be able to overcome objections to gain commitment from your clients

-The ability to use a CRM system and work with a weighted approach to pipeline management

-Strong communication skills to write effective and eye-catching emails to prospective customers and excellent Proposal development skills.

-Generation of Insightful reports and ability to evolve reporting to make it better and better.
