Job description.

We are urgently seeking an innovative and experienced Food Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development and enhancement of our bakery premix product line. 

As a Food Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the creation of new bakery premix products from conceptualization to commercialization. 

You will collaborate with our talented team to unlock the full potential of our brand, improve the nutritional quality, flavor, and texture of our bakery premix products, and ensure our company remains at the forefront of industry innovation.


Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and develop new cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding food quality and safety concerns.

- Utilize formulation software to create and update bakery premix formulations.

- Work on new product development projects from initial concept to product launch.

- Update product information sheets for sales preparation and ensure compliance with updated labeling requirements.

- Record, analyze, and summarize research data for further analysis and decision-making.

- Coordinate independent laboratory testing to validate product quality and safety.

- Update and maintain the MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) system.

- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant safety regulations.

- Perform any additional duties assigned by the unit manager to support product development efforts.


Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in agricultural science, biology, chemistry, or a related field.

- Strong ability to leverage internal and external scientific sources to make technical advancements in bakery premix formulation.

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in food development, preferably within the bakery or premix industry.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a laboratory setting.

- Knowledge and understanding of data science techniques and their application to food science.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Willingness to travel overnight, and to work night and weekend shifts for special projects.
